Whilst still advising on a variety of employment matters ( including employee share options and benefits) he has over the past years focused on working closely with his clients on dealing with commercial issues and advising on and drafting a variety of legal contracts including distribution ,supply, manufacturing and commercial agency agreements, terms and conditions , IP Licenses and other bespoke commercial contracts for a variety of different business sectors. Paul has an ability to work collaboratively with his clients so that any commercial matter can be addressed in a manner which provides the client with a cost effective and workable solution.
Experience
- Engaged by one of the largest technical employment agencies in the North West advising on all employment related issues.
- Advising and working for a major overseas manufacturer on various commercial contracts and commercial issues.
- Advisory and preparing share option documents for various businesses and advising on both EMI and EOT related issues.
- Advising senior executives of private and listed companies on exit packages upon termination.
- Acting for energy businesses and preparing framework agreements for gas and electricity provision.
Career History
Trained in a top 10 City firm and then worked for a specialist construction firm in the West end before moving to Manchester in 1992 to join a commercial boutique before joining Hill Dickinson as a partner in the Employment Team. He moved to Wacks Caller as a partner where he met Dov Black and they moved together in 2005 to BBS Law where they have significantly grown the practice which now provides legal services to an entrepreneurial client base across the UK.
