The BBS Law Corporate Team are delighted to have acted on behalf of Hunter Price International, a leading British toy and lifestyle company in its successful acquisition of BargainMax. This acquisition is a pivotal move in Hunter Price’s strategy to accelerate its brand expansion across Europe.

After its most successful trading year in 2023 with over £47 million in sales, BargainMax will now play an important role in Hunter Price’s growth. The acquisition allows Hunter Price to leverage BargainMax’s thriving e-commerce platform to expand the distribution of its diverse product portfolio, including toys, arts & crafts and stationery. Hunter Price, known for popular product ranges with global brands such as Paw Patrol, Barbie and Peppa Pig along with a thriving portfolio of own brands will continue to innovate with new collaborations, while BargainMax retains its current offerings, including Funko Pop! collectibles and LEGO sets, and integrates Hunter Price’s brands.
