Tom has acted for owners and occupiers in the retail, restaurant, office, leisure and industrial sectors and has also acted for bank lenders providing acquisition finance.
After seven years as a qualified solicitor, Tom has developed a seamless, commercially-focused approach and is acutely conscious of the need for good communication.
Recent Experience
- Acted for a bank that financed the acquisition of hotel premises (part of a well-known chain) pursuant to the investor’s franchise agreement.
- Acted for a special purpose vehicle (SPV) company on their site acquisition and development finance for several new build homes.
- Acted for the landlord on the letting of warehouse premises to a well-known joinery company.
- Acted on the sale of a valuable restaurant lease in the East End.
- Acted for the tenant on the leasing of a “boot camp” gym.
Career History
Having grown up in Toronto, Canada Tom returned to the United Kingdom in 2005 and completed his pre-requisite university legal education in London en route to eventually qualifying at Kidd Rapinet LLP’s London office in 2015.
Tom worked at a firm in the Thames Valley for a year before joining OGR Stock Denton LLP as an associate in October 2016.
