Michael has specialised in private client law for the past 30 years. His area of expertise include estate administration will drafting and preparing Lasting Powers of Attorneys.
Michael provides both practical and personal advice to ensure that executors and beneficiaries of estates are clearly advised through the administration of estates. He progresses matters with both speed and efficiency and seeks to ensure wherever possible that matters are not unduly delayed.
He drafts wills in a clear and concise manner whilst ensuring clients wishes are adhered to and dealt with tax efficiently.
Recent Experience
- Michael acted on a substantial estate where a collection of valuable jade was discovered and sold at auction for in excess of a million pounds.
- He recently acted on a large intestate estate which required the tracing of a large number of beneficiaries throughout the world.
Career History
Michael graduated with a degree in law at LSE. He was a partner in Jay Benning &Co in the West End before co-founding Manuel Swaden Limited in 1989. Michael has for many years specialised in elderly client law. He is a member of Solicitors for the Elderly.
