BBS Law, a leading law firm known for its commitment to corporate social responsibility, unveiled its new Charity of the Year, Maggie’s with a coffee morning and raffle across the London and Manchester offices. Maggie’s is a remarkable organisation that provides free practical, emotional, and social support to people with cancer and their loved ones.
The decision to support Maggie’s was made after a firm-wide vote of potential worthy causes. Head of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) committee, Safiyah Bhaiyat, said, “We are incredibly proud to be partnering with Maggie’s for the upcoming year. The work they do in supporting individuals and families affected by cancer is truly inspirational. We believe that by working together, we can make a real difference in the lives of those who need it most.”
Maggie’s has been providing vital support to cancer patients and their families since 1996. With centers across the UK, the charity offers a warm and welcoming environment where people can access expert help and advice, as well as connect with others who understand what they are going through.
