Elaine specialises in a broad range of corporate finance issues, including transactional work, acquisition and disposals, MBO’s and MBI’s, joint ventures, investments and restructuring.

Advising a client on a series of care home acquisitions across the UK.
Advising the management team of a UK professional services company in relation to an investment by a German competitor.
Advising a UK project management company in respect of a series of acquisitions over recent years.
Acting for both buyers and sellers on numerous transactions involving the acquisition of properties within a corporate wrapper.
Advising a number of larger group companies on reorganisations and demergers which included capital reductions and section 110 demergers.
Career history
Elaine trained in a niche corporate law firm in central London and qualified in 1987.Following qualification, she moved to Eversheds in Birmingham where she became a Senior Associate and stayed for 10 years.In 1997 Elaine moved to work for an international company who were a large client of Eversheds until 2003.She subsequently moved to Manchester and joined BBS Law where she has remained ever since.
