Jake specialises in property, both residential and commercial and works across both our Manchester and London Property Teams, servicing clients on a national and international basis.

Jake assists investor clients on their purchases, sales, and Landlord and Tenant matters. Jake also has particular expertise when it comes to Secured Lending, having previously worked in house for one of the UK’s largest bridging lenders; dealing with a variety of loans involving purchases, sales, re-finances and new developments. Jake also represents the firm’s borrower clients.
Recent Experience
- £2 million re-finance with Lloyds Bank Plc, being secured over several commercial units subject to various leases.
- Sale by way of Auction of a number of properties let to McColl’s Retail Group.
- Purchase of a flat in London involved in a contract race, with exchange required on the same day of instruction.
- Negotiating a Licence for Alterations on behalf of a landlord where the tenant, The Co- operative Group, were carrying out major works to the property.
- Acting on a portfolio sale involving a number of buy to let properties owned by various different companies.
- Acting for an investor on a high volume of purchases of residential and commercial properties across the country and subsequently acting on the sales at auction.
- Multiple matters for bridging lenders and borrowers requiring a quick turnaround.
Career History
Jake graduated with honours with a Law Degree from The University of Law Manchester in 2018. He then went on to obtain a distinction in his LPC professional skills studies and a master’s in Business, Law and Management at The University of Law Manchester in 2020. Jake completed his training with BBS and qualified in 2022.
